Things have been a little bit twisted; I let several blogs go down just to get started on a deck for the front entrance to the house. That’s my story, and I’m sticking with it!

Just the beginning

I don’t know if this is normal or not, but I found tomato-like fruit hanging off of one of the potato plants.

The blue gills are abundant, and the gold fish, at least 8 of the 3 dozen that I put in the pond, are doing well. One of the two peach trees is in full bloom, too. Maybe some peaches this summer?

The cacti are blooming, but the weeds aren’t

I have been seeing a pair of ducks swimming in the pond over the past few days. They seem to be very much at home, at least until the dogs scare them away. Also, I should be getting some blue gills to stock the pond in the next few days. I can hardly wait.

First the dogs do some dirt grazing…

Then they wash it all down, and off, with some pond water.

Got the hill seeded with the grass kind. Maybe, by this time next year, it, the hill, will be green

Who needs electric? We now have wind power for the well!

Our pond is nearly finished, it just needs a little touch up and more water. Daisy is going to love it!
